EAD: questions on changing jobs

I am on an EAD status and I am considering the possibility of changing jobs (in a related field) for family circumstances but I have a few questions about that:
1. can my new job be part time?
2. can my new salary be lower than the one I currently have?
3. I know that I can't be unemployed and that if my contract at the current job ends on June 30, my new one should start on July 1, but I would like to know if it would be ok for me to sign a new contract starting on July 1, but begin being paid from August 1.

1- With EAD you can do full time, part time, multiple jobs or not work at all.
2- Yes. The important question you want to ask if this change anfd low salary could affect your pending I485 or not. The answer is yes, this change could adversly affect your emploment based GC application to the extent of denial.
3- This is wrong assumption. you may stay for days, weeks or even not working at all with pending I485. This is the application which puts you in legal stay not the EAD, pay or the job.
