EAD question

Hi! everybody

I have a question on EAD. I would like to apply EAD for my wife and I already applied for her I 485 and mine with RD of 01/27/2003.

My H1 extension and my wife's H4 extension is pending from August 2002. Mine and my wife's I-94's have been expired by end of Dec'2002. For applying for EAD we have to send a copy of I 94. My question is still, can I send the expired copy of I -94 to apply an EAD for my wife. Please ansewer this if anybody knows anything regarding this.

I have sent my expired I-94 to INS for EAD renewal as I do not think I would get an I-94 extended as H1 is expired....

So, it is valid to send an expired I -94 to apply for an EAD, since her H4 is pending. I can just apply for EAD with (expired) I -94 and I 485 receipt notice and other documents required...
