EAD Question

I currently have an EAD and AP and am on H1-B, my wife has a H4 as a dependent though not yet included on my I-485 because the dates aren't current.
Is it possible for me to get her onto another non-immigrant visa like H1,F1 etc and then I can start using my EAD?
Once the PD becomes current can I add her to my I-485?

---------- if she is eligible and you find employer she can file H4 to H1 Change of status( remember I have read many posts those who filed from H4 to H1 and then employer was not paying and did not had work and again one has to change from H1 to H4 and many go out of status)
