my EAD will expire in december, can anyone please tell me when i should start applying for a renewal because i hear its some time to get a renewal.

according to the USCIS website, you should apply for the renewal 6 months before the expiration date. I hope that helps
 
do it 3.5 months in advance. This way, if you don't get the card within 90 days, you can get an interim work permit after 90 days from the receipt date, and you won't have to interrupt your work.
 
Yes. About 3.5 months or so. DO not send it 6 months in advance. The centers are not taking that long to process them. They DO NOT continue the EAD from the expiry of the old one. The card is dated from the day they approve it. You could end up losing valuable time on your card.
