EAD question urgent

here are my case details
I485 applied on 18 Dec, 2002
I140 approved on 24 Feb, 2003
Got laid off on 2 April, 2003 (before 6 months from I485 application)
H1B cancelled by employer on 1 May, 2003
Have a job and wish to join on 30 June. Based on a 90 days window, I am planning on applying for IEAD on 26 June, 2003. On the EAD form there is a question about my current status, What should I put?
Do they check my H1B, and if they do wont they find out that my H1B has been cancelled?
Please could someone shed some light

I think it is AOS(Adjustment of Status).

Is your EAD allready filed?If so when?

Yes I filed for my EAD on 26 March, 2003.

Which service center is processing April 4th EAD? This will help us. My EAD (new) was filed on April 21st 03 at CSC.

Mine was filed at CSC too.
