EAD Question...Help Please

I have filed for EAD Renewal last week.
My checks were cashed yesterday and I saw the SRC#s on the back of the checks online and it was not my original SRC number.
When I checked the status of that SRC# online, it was not an Employment Authorization case, it said this..
Application Type: OS155A, IMMIGRANT VISA AND ALIEN REGISTRATION

Could anybody explain this please?

alien registration no. is the A# which is printed on your EAD card , so don't worry , your check was cashed out for EAD renewal only,its their terminology to use that term for EAD renewal application.wait for sometime (65 days minimum )
 
In how many days we get original receipt after check is cleared.

I applied for EAD and today they enchased my checks, so my question is in how many days do we get original receipt
 
Recvd EAD Cards yesterday. Less than 10 days...amazing!!!
Hope they to the same with 485s too.....
 
Dates...

What are the Dates on the new EAD card ? is it valid from Dec to Dec or from Oct to Oct? if that is the case then we will lose 3 months every year and we are renewing for only 9 months.

The dates are from Dec to Dec. I was afraid too, that I would loose those 3 months, but it didn't turn out that way.
So, it might be the same for every one too.

Thanks for good news , I was little concern about it. anyway our both cases are almost same. I thought to apply for AP in Nov if it is the case now I can apply without any fear
 
Gaining, loosing, whatever !

I had EAD till Mid Jan 2006 and my company applied in advance in Sep begining. I received renewed EADs from Sep'05 to Sep'06.

Don't we become philosophical with USCIS ;) ?
 
Yet another unfair practice by CIS

Granting EAD/AP for one year from the date of approval rather than one year from the date of expiry of previous EAD/AP is yet another unfair practice by CIS. One more way to make more money from us :mad:
