EAD question. Gurus... Need help!!

Hi,

I am a new user in this forum.

My wife's EAD is about to expire on Sep19th 2003. She already applied for the renewal on Jun4th. She did not receive the approval yet. The 90 day processint time ends @sept2nd. There is a 2 week gap to go and get a IEAD from the local INS office. She did get a receipt notice from BCIS for the EAD Renewal.

Please advice... Can she continue working????
If not, What should we do?

BTW: I talked to the local INS office, they said they can only issue the IEAD on or after Sept2nd only (Which is after 90 days).

ask her to take a leave withoutpay and inform her HR anout this.
And take your IEAD and start working by that time she would get her EAD.
My Ead was exp on Aug 23,2003.I applied for renewal on May29 2003.And got approved on Aug04 2003 and recived a card on Aug 11 2003 in mail.
So that was cool. Other wise I was ready to take pay without leave and to go Florida and enjoy my vacation!!!
