EAD process detail?

Hello there!

I recently filed concurrently (130, 485, 765) based on marriage to USC. I have FP date for Feb 22/07 for 485 & 765. Wondering what's next for the EAD... not talking about timelines, more about if I will get an interview or just get an approval by mail, or a stamp in my passport? Also, normally for how long is EAD valid. And then after that stamp/card do I go to the Social Security office to get a SSN?

EAD is valid for one year.
I don't think you need an interview for EAD approval.
You might have an interview related to your 485 but not EAD.

Hi ,
I second minn labor on his statements !!! You'll get an interview just for I485 , not for EAD ( but an RFE can be received , if something is missing from your aplication supporting documents ) !!! Also , when you get your EAD Card , together with the I485 Receipt Notice , you can go to SSN office and apply for your SSN Number !!! Good luck !!!
