EAD Period

I recently applied for 3rd EAD and got approved, but my validity date is from the date approved. My 2nd EAD expires on 04/30/2005 and the new EAD they have issued is from 03/09/2005.

Do I need to call uscis to change the date? Any similar experience?

Addtionally I have completed two finger prints and EAD says "finger print not available"

Search for "FP not available" thread.
That is present for all paper based EAD's.

Yes its normal to date the EAD from the approval date and not the expiry of the old one. Heres a link to NSC that explains why.
I renewed my EAD by paper and mine also says fingerprint not available.
