EAD or new H1B

I am switching company after my I-485 was filed more than 180days. Should I use EAD to work for the new company or should I ask the new company to apply H1B for me? What are the advantages and disadvantages of each option?

if u use ead and 485 is denied what happens - do u become illegal ?

if u use H1 transfer i am sure that u r still in status

485 in case of kinganil and others was denied becuase he filed 485 3 days before his priority date became current

but many employers do not wish to spend money on H1 transfer and suggest that u use ead
