EAD not yet in - H1 Expiring - Need Advice

RD: 11/05/01
ND: 12/06/01
FP: 03/29/02

Applied for EAD separately at Arlington, VA office on 01/19/02. It has not arrived yet, and my H1 is expiring on 05/01/02. Suggestions? Thanks.

I think you should be OK. You will never be out of status because of the fact that you have applied for EAD and 485. You may want to consult your lawyer. In the worst case you can apply for H1 extension before the current H1 expires. But this may not be needed.

If you did not receive EAD in 3 month, go to local INS office to get one,

It is easy, my wife get one last September
