EAD not yet approved > 120 days Please help

FP: Done - 04/12/2005

Today:06/01/2005 called USCIS regarding my EAD not approved ..
I was told my approval is waiting for VISA number available.

I am really confused what is this VISA number issue with EAD..

Can i go for interim EAD, i also applied for AP : RD: 05/19/2005 ND: 5/23/2005
Will my AP will get affected also..

Please help
 
Sounds like the Cust Svc person got confused. Looks like they mis-understood what you said and thought that you were asking about 485 approval.
That's what waits on a visa number availability for certain folks effected by retrogression.

EAD and AP is not something that gets affected by visa numbers being unavailable (if it were affected, a lot us folks would be in deep trouble with the current retro for EB3 !!)

Did you get any RFE for the EAD ? If you didn't get an RFE, I would definitely try going to the local office and get a i-EAD.
Just take your EAD receipt notice - and don't tell them anything about the 140 RFE unless asked specifically.

Just say that its been >90 days and you want a i-EAD -- make an infopass appointment (IIRC, there is an option just for i-EADs)
