My EAD approval notice (card) is sent out on May 31 per AVM. Two weeks pasted, I haven\'t received my card. I called NSC this morning. The IIO told me that if it is lost, I have to re-apply for it. It toke me 4 months to hear this approval message. I have to suffer another 4 months? What a nightmare! What I can do besides waiting ? Have anyone had similar situation happened before? Is it possible I can get it from local INS office ? Any input is appreciated.

It is interesting to hear about your message. Actually it happened to my case too. My ead was mail out on May 24th., after 3 weeks, I still haven\'t received it. So I called ins and was told to check with postman, neighbers, blah, blah. When I asked what if the mail is lost, she said that I have to apply again.??? I was so frustrated. Surprisingly, I got the card in mail yesterday and I noticed it was stamped on 05/24. Anyway, goodluck.

Sarah00,

Thanks for your message. I saw a litter light in the dark from your message. I crossed my finger to wait the card appear in my mail box soon.

After 90 days of receipt date(or something close), I heard you can get interim EAD at your local INS office. Don\'t apply at NSC even if you have to re-apply. Go to the local office. They give the same day in some offices. Good Luck!
