Hello Friends

I have a question here about an EAD thing.

Let me explain my current situation, i am working as a system anyalyst in a company who apply my Green Card. I applied my EAD/AP/485 september 2004.

Here is my questions.

Question1 ?
------------
Once i get my EAD thru Company 1. I want to work for Company 2 using the EAD. Am i eligible to work like that or i have to wait to get the plastic card.

Question2 ?
------------
If i get my EAD can i be a Limitted Liability partnership in a company. Or can i get 1099 using EAD.

Can anyone help me to answer to these questions please.

------- once you get EAD Card in hand you can work with any employer remember once you use EAD you will NOT be on H1 status, you have filed I-485 in Sep 2004 and it is not pending more than 180 days and I dont know if I-140 is approved for you

Same EAD Issue

I want to work for both Company 1 and Company 2 using the EAD that i got from Company 1. Is it possible to work for both.
And the company 1 will issue W-2 or 1099
And the company 2 will issue w-2 or 1099.

If i work for both will that create any problem.

Since you are talking about owning a company etc, you should probably talk to a qualified attorney.
 
Yes you can work for another employer in addition to your current employer on an EAD.

Yes you can start a company using an EAD. (Just not an S-Corp as you have to be a permanent resident or citizen for that). Also, if you do start a company, you must still work for your sponsoring employer. You cannot get a green through a company that you, or a relative, own more than 5% in. (Just mentioning that in case you were thinking of leaving your sponsor and working only for your own company).

As was mentioned above, if you do use your EAD card, you will lose your H1-B.
