EAD - Interview at Baltimore, Suggestions please

After 90 days passed since the notice date in my second EAD application, I went to Balitmore local office. They filed a duplicate and said that I would hear back from them in 30 days. Now, I got an interview to meet the EAD office with passport and old EAD card. Any ideas/suggestions what I could expect will help me a great deal. (My 140 is approved and 485 is pending since Dec 2002.)

Is there a way,you can go earlier to 90 days. Have you tried going to baltimore office for applying for I-EAD.

Please provide me the inputs.

Also can you tell me, after how many days after going to Baltimore, you got the interview letter.

I dont think you can before 90 days. Iam not sure if they accept EAD applications because I have not tried.

Could you pl. tell me on - how many days it took for you to get an interview letter after your IEAD filing and what is your interview date?

I'm also planning to go to Baltimore on Friday to submit my IEAD application and wondering how much time it takes to get IEAD in hand?

Baltimore IEAD experience

First, there is no need to worry about the interview, actually, there is no interview, they won't even talk to you and give you and all the others iEAD in 30 minutes. So go on time, for me it was 12:30 and I went their at 8AM and had to wait. They process everyone together, i.e. pictures and distribution of cards. Didn't even checked my ID or passport, just looked at the appt letter.

Second, Baltimore will not take iEAD applications before 90 days have passed. I applied on Jan 2 for IEAD and they said that I will get a letter of appt/interview in 2 to 4 weeks, got an appointment letter on Jan 16 for an appt on Wed Jan 24th. My EAD was expiring on the 28th, very close call!

My original VSC request made on Sep 30, 2003 is still pending, even though I don't need it any more as Baltimore issued iEAD for one year.
