EAD in NSC or Missouri center?

You mailed your forms on Oct 31st and RD is Nov 1st?

I thought that the RD is usually when the INS replies i.e 3-6 weeks after we mail in the forms. E.g. If the forms are mailed in on Oct 31st then the RD should be, maybe, Nov 22nd .....

Am asking because it seems that EAD is 2 months from RD. My forms were mailed in on Nov 13th, I believe. So my RD could be Nov 14th if the theory holds.

Please clarify if you know.

RD is the day they reach the packet i.e usually next day since most of the lawyers send it using over night atleast my lawyer did.
So the Notice Date is the date when they pick it from the queue in the mail room and enter our case in the computer after receiving the fees. So in my case for 485
Mailed on a Friday 11/08/02 that Monday was a holiday
For 485, EAD, AP
RD : 11/12/02
ND : 11/19/02

if I check the INS online status it says the receipt notice date is 11/19/02. I checked above two dates specifically with the lawyer and they were mentioned as above in the receipts. I hope it is helpful.

I completely agree to vivek9090. My lawyer also told me the samething. For all processing purposes, INS will consider RD.

I don't know where exactly the ND is used or in otherwords, don't know the purpose of ND (other than the fact that INS entered our applications into their computer system on this day)

In your case, most probably RD is 14-Nov-02 and ND may be 2-3 weeks from 14-Nov-02.

12/07/02 GOT EAD cards

Now waiting in the queue for the I-485 approval.
