EAD help!!

I filed my application for renewal (3rd EAD) in June with TSC. I received a RFE in early September saying that they couldn't find my I-485, which was filed in June 2002. I responded back via certified mail and got the receipt back in about a week. I went to local BCIS office on Oct 12 hoping to get an i-EAD before it expired on Oct 15. I was told that I have to wait 90 days from the date of receipt of response to RFE by TS, which was Sept 14. It was when I found out TSC sent out the RFE at the end of July, which never reached me. I haven't changed my address ever since I filed I-485. I called the National Customer Center on Nov 16 and inquired about the case. I was told an inquiry was made and should hear something back within 30 days, which I did on Dec 9. The letter simply stated when I filed, when the RFE was sent out and when a response was received but the case hasn't gone back to the examiner as of yet. The officer, who was not the same one that issued the RFE, also mentioned that he/she will let the examiner know of my inquiry. I went to local BCIS office yesterday hoping to get an i-EAD since it has been more than 90 days but was told the case status is showing "Abandoned" and also "On Supervisory Hold." No i-EAD could be issued as a result of that. The immigration officer suggested I resend all the documents that I sent in response to the I-765 RFE to TSC. Gurus, what does that mean? Please help!!

The day to remember...

I'm posting this as a follow-up so that whoever encounters similar situation will keep fighting and not give up. (Even though no one in this forum seems to be able to help...) My jouney has finally come to an end - a good ending, though. The email finally came this afternoon for my I-485 approval. I know some of you may encouter some odd situations like the one I had during your quest for the ultimate freedom, but you just have to believe that something good will come out of all this mess. I know this is too sentimental to some of you but I believe at a moment like this it's hard not to get emotional especially before Xmas. I want to wish everyone still fighting their way to keep it up and that day to remember will eventually arrive. (I guess I don't have to worry about my 3rd EAD!!! P.S. "Abandoned" doesn't equal "Rejected." )

Congratulations!
