Anybody have an advice for my situation. Right now i have
filed 485 with my current employer and have valid EAD till
03/03. Right now I have an offer from company B. They want
me to work for them soon. Since i have filed renewal for my
EAD. Can company B file H1B so that i can start working for them
till i get my EAD renewed. Will this cause any problem for my green card processing.
 
If your
1. 485 has been pending for more than 6 months
2. If the H1 renewal is continuous
3. The new employment is similar to the one portrayed in LC / I 140, enabling you to exercise AC21,

you will not face any difficulties in your H1 renewal or GC processing

My current company filed 485 in 02/02.
I am still working on H1B status, as i did not use EAD to
work for.
The new job offer from company B is of similar classification.
So can company b file for my h1b and then i can start working
for them till i get my EAD renewed. Of cource if my EAD renewal
gets approved, the picture is clear. I am only concern is that
the new h1b may cause any damage for my 485 processing.

My situation is a little bit complicated. I lost job in September. I went on vacation to Inidia for 4 months and came back in Jan on AP.

I cannot do H1b transfer as I do not have a current pay check.
Can the company apply for new H1B? Does that in any way affect my I-485?

I also have a question about EAD. Can someone please help.

My wife was on H-1B but lost her job. We filed I-485 ( I am the principal and she's the dependent) in August and she now works using the EAD. For some reason, we may have to file another I-140 and I-485 and withdraw the old one ( I am still the principal). My question is that if the old 485 is withdrawn, is her EAD still valid until the expiration date, so that she can continue to work. Or it is invalidated as soon as the 485 is withdrawns.
