EAD/H1B status

Hi,

I have a general question. My wife (primary applicant) and I have applied for Adjustment of status and she is planning to go to India on her H1B Visa without her advance parole. If we get our EAD and if I start using my EAD, does it mean that she is no longer on her H1B status? Does my using the EAD invalidate my wifes H1B status?
