I am hoping someone can tell me whether they have this experience:
I applied for EAD renewal back in June and haven't heard anything in three months, so I did an inquery. A month later, VSC sent me a letter stating that my FP hadn't been done and told me to set up an appointment at the local ASC center. So I did.
My local ASC won't allow early FP so I waited about a month and finally went for appointment yesterday. After one and a half hour wait, all they did was printed my right hand index finger on a little scanner-like screen and took my picture.
I don't think this is the same as 485 FP (I haven't done that yet even though my I485 RD is 10/23/03)! Can someone tell me whether this is true?
