Hi,I filed for an EAD extension. I dont have an attorney and I filed it on my own. I submitted it electronically. As mentioned in the online receipt I took an appoitnments at the INS application support center to give my photo and finger print. I asked them if I need to mail any documents to the INS and they said it is not necessary.

The lady said as long as there are no changes to my application like any mistakes of D.O.B etc I dont need to submit anything

Are they right? Can any one help me with that.

Thanks
Ratna

That's true... You dont need to mail anything, however, it does not hurt to mail the following:

copy of passport.
copy of driver's license.
copy of approved I-140.
copy of I-485 reciept.
copy of previous EAD cards and reciepts.

i was told the same thing during ead fp at san jose

i was told the same thing during ead fp at san jose. Moreover I had lost my online receipt. INS does send a receipt for online EAD appln, I guess that should be sufficient for obtaining interim EAD.

When did they start doing FPs for EADs? I've never had to do one...
