EAD Extension Help Please !!

Any idea how early can one apply for an EAD extension ? Is it 6 months before the current EAD expires or Is it 3 months ?

Also how about for H1 extension ,how early can one apply ?

I do not know the answer for EAD extension but I like to know too.
For H1 extensions, I was told by my lawyer, it is 2 months

EAD Renewal

For EAD renewal filing 3 months in advance is always safe. In case if you are working on EAD and getting renewal is delayed due to some reason, you can get interim EAD. Interim EAD is issued if the application for renewal is pending for more than 3 months. Better file atleast 3 months + 7 to 10 days for mailing period is advisable.
