first EAD expires on 23 June 2004
Second EAD Notice date is 7 April 2004 and waiting for approval.
so 90 days are on 6th July 2004.

Yesterday went to NY 26 Federal Plaza to try for ain InterimEAD. They let me in, but the guy on the window just said 6 JULY. 6 JULY.6 JULY to anything I talked to him. Came back empty handed.

So now I can either hope that new EAD comes in 2 days. Or else go on 6th July for IEAD. Meanwhile, between 24 June and 6 July, I will be without EAD.

Dont know what to do about job, paycheck, etc,

Hi Ksnm...

If your first EAD expires... you will have to be unpaid till you get your 2nd EAD or you get an interim EAD. It is highly advisable to do that.

If you work and earn money on an expired EAD, your 485 adjudication could be at risk (if the USCIS comes to know about it).

As far as I know... most lawyers ask you to go on unpaid leave of absence. Talk to your lawyer about it.

Hope this information helps...

----- other poster has replied to your questions. who prevented you filing EAD 6 months advance??????

did not know I could apply 6 months ahead

It was my first renewal of EAD. I kept thinking tis like H1 -- you apply and its ok even if it comes later after the earlier one expires...

And did not know that I can apply as early as 6 months!

Told my company to stop paying for the days worked after 23 June until I get some kind of EAD (renewed or iEAD -- whichever I get first).
