EAD Expired and applied for extension

Hi,

I applied for my Wife's EAD extension after her EAD expired and applied only 30 days back.
To get an interim EAD atleast 90 days should be passed after the application submission for a new EAD application. Does this hold good for EAD extension also ?
Now she has got a job and wants to join the work. Is there any way she can get a work permit or need to wait for 90 days from the date of application for EAD extension ?

---- She has to wait.Need EAD in hand or go to local BCIS office after 90 days of RD.I hope she will get EAD in 90 days if application is properly filed and submitted with correct required documents
