Surprised to see the approval email less than a month!
Paper EAD with all the docs mentioned in these threads.

I140 AD - 11/17/03 after RFE for company financials
No FP notice yet!

Documents attached:
• 2 photos which fits INS requirement with A# and name written with pencil on back.
• A check $175.00 for I-765 renewal fee made in the name of "Immigration and naturalization service"
• Original Form I-797 D (from last EAD)
• I -765 Renewal Application
• A copy of last EAD (front and back)
• A copy of Form I-94 Departure Record (front and back)
• A copy of I-485 Receipt Notice (including primary’s)
• A copy of last I-765 Receipt Notice
• Marriage Certificate for secondary applicant.
• Color copy of your driver’s license
• Color copy of your Passport photo page
 
USCSIS never ceases to amaze anyone.

My e-file EAD RD is 07/25, no approval yet. :mad:

Did your LUD change before your EAD was approved? My LUD was changed to 7/30/04 but no approval yet.

The LUD of my 485 is the same. No change. It says your application is received on 22 July 2003....

I did not check my LUD of my 2nd EAD. I received the unexpected email saying it is approved. And the LUD of my 2nd EAD says it is approved.
 
EAD Approval Mail in abt 2 weeks...

Sounds Interesting Right !!! :-) But that's true...Applied for 2nd EAD for myself and my spouse on 7/23/04 (VSC) and got e-mail from USCIS on 08/03/04 that the EAD application has been approved and new cards ordered.
Today the LUD for both the cases is 08/06 ...Seems like they have posted the cards already..Applied through paper with all the docs mentioned in some of my earlier replies.

Received the card

Received my card. Still it is a 1 year validity. Valid from 08/03/04 to 08/02/04. My first EAD validity is/was from 11/21/03 to 11/20/04.

I was hoping to see more than a year validity as the rule was passed before my approval.
