EAD Denied...Plz Help me

Hello all,
I have got this letter when Iam trying renew my EAD card.
I got a receipt that it was filed on September 7.
couple of days ago I got a letter from NSC stated that My application was denied..
here is their reason in the letter

Title 8 Code of Federal Regulations,Part 274a.12(a)(5) allows for the authorization of employment to:

An alien granted asylum under section 208 of the act for the period of time in status, as evidenced by an employment authorization document issued by the Service;
The applicant did not provide evidence that he was granted Asylum Status at the time of filing form I-765. Electronic Service Records do not show Asylum Status.
Therefore, upon consideration, this aplication is hereby denied.
There is no appeal to this decision.
The denial is without prejudice to the filing of an Application for Employment Authorization under any category for which you may qualify.


looks like I filled the application with wrong information.
what should I do now..Can I reaply for EAD..? or need to followup on this?
currently Iam on H1 not EAD..I-140 is pending..
Should I need Apply again
Please advice me...

I-140 RD - 11/07/03
I-485 RD - 11/09/03
EAD/AP - 12/20/03
FP - 05/25/04
 
Did you use the correct form I-765?
Did you put "(c)(9)" in question 16?

If you want to refile the I-765 form, attach a copy of your 485 receipt with your filled I-765. but I am not sure about asylum case.. Did you file for asylum? If so, you must consult your lawyer because it is complicated.

Do you have a lawyer? If so, consult him/her how to correct and refile.

I filled correct form...I guess I filled wrong information.I shud put (c)(9), I didn't apply for asylum. I applied workpermit for skilled professional..
so do I need to apply again for EAD or can I followup on this case.(it was my mistake that I gave rong info)..
this time Can I apply on my own by giving correct info (c)(9) under 8CFR.27a

I think you can apply again. (I am not a lawyer). Please make sure to copy your 485 receipt, photos, check for fees, and copy of your I-94 which is required. If you are married, please attach a copy of your marriage certificate. Please read the instructions of the form I-765 properly.

But I am not sure how to respond to that denied application. If you need help, it is best way to consult a lawyer because I am not neither a lawyer nor an expert. Please wait for answers from people in this forum.

I can go through lawyer, thats not an issue..($100 costs to me :( or may be more)
if I attach the denial letter and fee, I-765 with rite info,fotos,485 receipt etc,.
will this work...? or do I have to include anyother.
plz guide me
 
Please guide me about this...need urgent...
how should be the covring letter if I mention my application was denied earlier(for incorrect info)..?

It will work but make sure you file in this way !

1) copy of i-485 receipt
2) copy of front and back of old EAD card and also the cover that you old EAD card was inserted. there will be barcode on it and it will be usefull for the uscis to find you.
3) fees
4) copy of drivers licence...etc, and also the RFE or denied notice??

Make sure put C-9

Sorry reposting it...Can give me some ideas...in writing a covering letter for a denied application
