EAD denial-Possibly incomplete security check

Hi all:

It is reported that USCIS is refusing to grant EADs to individuals who have pending applications and whose security checks are not complete. In some cases, USCIS officials have cited an undisclosed memo that bars granting an EAD if the security check is not complete. American Immigration Lawyer Association and American Immigration Law Foundation are considering to help those with such a case. If you encounter the similar denial, you should contact your attorney.

It means to say our name check is completed and okey without any problem?
We received our renewal of EAD.

WE also received two EADs but I do not know whether my NC is cleared or not.

I found in some other immigr. forums - this is Interagency Border Inspection System (IBIS) check (http://www.gao.gov/new.items/d0620.pdf, page 42, Table 5), which applies for EAD. So, as I understand it is not related to our pending I-485 cases and name checks.

I believe namecheck has nothing to do with issuance of EAD. There are large number of I-485 (over 80,000) pending due to namecheck, but we have not come across a significant number of EAD denials.
