EAD Case Transferred to Local Office

Folks

My EAD is expiring on June 2nd . I did apply for a renewal in March 2003. I checked the status online, it says that EAD case have been transferred to Local Office?

Any idea what it means?? Thoughts welcome please?

Probably might mean that 485 has or will be transferred

my friend who had his case transferred to local office recently applied for ead and had the ead app transferred to local office for adjudication. he did get his ead now.
maybe they want to link all the files in one place.
My view of course :)
