There is a rule that after filing for I 485. If more than 90 days have passed, one can receive his temporary EAD card.

When do the 90 days start? From the date the application is mailed or the Receipt date or the Notice date.

It is from the receipt date. If your card has been approved before 90 days... you will have to try your luck with the INS officer to get an interim card..

Mine was rejected saying that it has already been approved. Asked me to come back 90 days after the approval date if I did not get my EAD card till then.

after 90 approval, if I still don\'t get the card, can I apply for Interim one?
my case is approved on May 15th from CA SCS. Not receive...
the AVM said , we are ordering a new card bluh... bluh...
