EAD- buying a business

I just received my EAD card.
Can I buy a business using EAD card while working part time for my current employer who sponsored I 140/485?

You don't need an EAD buy or run a business. Working part-time however is a complicated issue on which you will need to do some research to get the correct answer for you situation. Short answer is, you need a fulltime job to get employment based-greencard

I have been working on an H1b since last 5 years. Since now I have an EAD, does that entitle me to start/buy another business not related to my profession?
I was not able to do that before because I had employer specific H1b Visa.

You are free to do anything on EAD, however bigger issue is about your fulltime job with the employer who filed your I-140. You can leave your current if you qualify under AC21. Even then, you will have to get a fulltime-job in the same category as your LC to get GC approved.

U can buy or sell a business, for that you dont need a EAD.
How ever you need a FT job untill you get your Employment Based GC.
You think you can handle that than all fine.
