My wife plans to start a company. She is on EAD sponsored through me.

Can I work for the new company as an W2 employee ?

You have to be on EAD and also work on the same job as described on the labor certification.

What is your status? H1B? US Citizen? Green card? Have you filed an I-485 for yourself, or just for your wife? If you filed one for yourself, when was it filed?
