EAD at the local INS ?

Folks,

I have recently applied to renew my EAD\'s and have just received the Receipts for them. Looking at the other postings at this site, it looks like it is taking 60-90 days for the approval. However, my current EAD expires in less than a month and am wondering if I could go to the Local INS for the renewal. I remember reading earlier on this discussion board that one has to wait for 90 days since the RD to go to the local INS office. Is that true ? Would greatly appreciate if the folks out there who had been to the local INS for EADs, share their experience.

Check with your local INS center. In philly, you can get new or renewed EAD on the same day.

Did u wait for 90 days from ur EAD RD before u walked in into the INS center in Philly ?
