EAD at Newark

anybody applied for a IEAD at newark center..please let me know whether newark center issues a IEAD and what is the procedure.

got I EAD newark NJ

I got iead from newark center yesterday, it was kind of easy except long waits in the queues.The validity is for 8 months.
 
Can you please post the details.
What documents did u take. what did the officer ask etc.

The only documents they asked me is EAD receipt notice, and a filled EAD application, duplicates.And also they will check your passport. They did not asked me any questions... just to wait till they call you. But if you are going to Newark, go pretty much early, otherwise u will b waiting for more time. I went at 8:15, came out at almost 2:30.
 
Hi NJFLGC,

My situation is I might have to go the local office(newark) for iEAD.
I got a RFE on 17th July(online status) I dont know what the RFE is yet.
Do you if they check whether i got a RFE. and does it affect in any way in issuance of iEAD.

I will be laid off next month(08/29/2003) and I have to join another comapny on EAD to continue the project at the client.
