EAD approved

I havent received my reciept yet for my 485 documents which were received by INS on 24th dec.
Anyone, any feedback of how long it is taking to get the new EAD.

Not a big surprize but just wanted to share.

One concern though. The online status web site does not recognize my EAD EAC#. Is it normal or should I talk to an IIO?

suggestion...

guys pls. specify whether the approvals are related to "new" or "renewal".... it will be helpful if u post ur receipt date & first 4 digits of your EAC nos.

where does it says renewal

I had filled EAD application for renewal but on the Reciept it just says "Application for Emplyment Authorization " . How would I know that they are just going to renew it and not issue some another one
 
If your applying for the first time its new...if your EAD is going to expire & ur going to apply again its renew...
 
My husband applied sometime around 15-20 Dec. Don't remember the date. No reciept nothing. I am getting a little worried. His old EAD expires in March.

If anyone called up the INS with regards to this can you please post the information here.

Mailed EAD renewal application on 3rd Jan 2003
Reached INS Dept on 6th Jan 2003
Received reciept RD Jan 06th 2003, ND Jan 14th 2003
