EAD Approved

Our (me + my wife\'s) 2nd EAD Approved.
ND Nov. 19th 2001, AD Feb 11 2002.

I have not received my new cards yet.

A qs: If I do not receive my new cards before the old ones expire, can I still work.
Please advise.

If your EAD have been approved, that should be okay. I asked an IIO what to do if the new EAD has not been approved before the expiration date of the old one. She told me I could ask my employer if it\'s okay to work or I can go to the local INS office to obtain one.

So without a new card, though EAD approved, I can still work.

I\'m not a lawyer, but I\'d say it\'s okay to work. Is the approval date of your new EAD before the expiration date of the old one? If so, there shouldn\'t be any problem as your employer don\'t know when your EAD\'d expire.

Though my approval date is Feb 11, 2002 and expiry date of the old one is March 07, 2002.
