Got this email yesterday:

This case has been approved. On December 19, 2005, an approval notice was mailed. If 14 days have passed and you have not received this notice, you may wish to verify or update your address. To update your address, please call the National Customer Service Center at (800) 375-5283.

How long does it usually take to get the card after approval notice?

Mine took 5 working days

After the first e-mail notification (Monday) announcing my application has been approved, there is a second e-mail two days later (Wednesday) announcing the card has been ordered. Then the next Monday, I received the EAD card by regular post. My service center is TSC.

For me it took 3 working days to get the EAD after similar update.

my ap was renewed in 14 days from vsc.

EAD received!

I got the email on Monday for my EAD saying it was approved on the 19th, then I received the card yesterday on the 20th. I think they were just waiting on my fingerprint, in which I did a walk in to do. Now just waiting on the SS card so can begin working.
