Sudden surge of activity is happening for me in the past few weeks.
After a long wait of 10 months, my wife's and my ead have been approved. My wife's AP is also approved (as per online status). I have been on i-ead since the expiry of my first ead in oct2003 and was almost on my way to get the next i-ead.
ead/ap RD: 06/26/2004
ead AD: 04/24/2004(got the cards in 3 days)
AP AD for my wife : 04/28/2004(yet to receive ap document)
AP for me not yet approved.

Footnote: 140 also got approved about a month back(waited 18 months and an rfe).
Hope that this new approval trend for us carries on to our 485

Strange are the ways....:confused:

current processing for EAD is march first week.2004 and how come ur EAD that long ??

did u got interim EAD ? do u had any RFE on 140/EAD/??

Why it took so long for EAD's and AP's that's amillion dollar question.

No RFE's so far. I think it is better to get RFE's so that we have the satisfaction that somebody is looking into the case.

A lot of people around the same time frame have gotten their FP's and I haven't seen one for me. Its getting really frustrating as I am already on the 7th year extension and got my 8th year extension approved just in case. ( there goes $1000 down the drain if they approve my 140 in the next month which I know they will as far as my luck goes :mad: ).

I'll post anthing new happens to my cases.

in addition.....

Interim EAD: no we did not get them as it would not help me anyways. As without the 140 being approved I cannot use AC21 anyways....

(I assume this is NSC)
I filed on Mar 8th, so if thats the case, I should see mine approved soon..:)
