In less than 2 months.
Filed early Dec'03 , apprved and received 27th jan'04.

I still have 1 Q, After giving FP on 20th jan , online msg has changed from 485 app recvd .. to FP notice sent on 26th jan.
For my wife it says resumed after receiving FP.
Does that mean my FP needs to be redone or its a TSC mistake??

How months in advance did you apply for EAD renewal? Also did you use the paper method or online?

My EAD expires on 08/01/04 and is it true that we can apply for renewal 6 months in advance?

TSC seems to be lot better now atleast for EAD. My EAD online message says approved on Jan27th.

Gave my application to attorney On Dec 2nd
Notice date 12/5/2003 src04-04752XXX


Hope this trend will continue with I485.

Applied by Paper method.
But i think online will be better. You go to BCIS office and i think they take the picture after you filed online. You get the acknowledgement instantly (i hope).
RD is 3 days before ND.
I think EAD was applied more tahn 6 months in advance of current ones expiration.
 
Since you applied 6 months before and it took just 2 months to process and approve, does your new EAD card expire 1 year from now or 1 year + 4 months from now?

Copy of I-485 receipt
Copy of present EAD
Check for $120
Two photographs
