EAD approved with wrong dates

Both our EAD were approved, but my wife's has an error. They put validity period as of current her EAD.

We called to USCIS. they advised to send new application with new erroneous card and explanatiojn.
That's exactly what we did. No response.
Called again. I did talking part, wife was there, identified herself on phone to officer.
Can you believe it?
We received a letter stating that they cannot convey information to the third person!.
Called again
Now my wife talking.
This time they transfered her to NSC
Little bit of wait and another stupid ass claims hat we cheked replacement, not renewal. - that's what they did. -But what happend to second follow-up application? - you did not send a fee! End of conversation.

First of all that was asylum based card, new category C 08. previously we applied for AOS- C09. So how came replacement was issued to non-existent card? ( In fact it was C-08 EAD)
Second, there is no fee for asylum application for EAD.
Third, we did everything uniformly on both applications an mine was renewed correctly and her's "replaced".
I will call tomorrow again, probably will be more lucky to talk more smart and less lazy asshole.

send a covering letter letter to service center where 485 is pending along with a front and back copy of wrong ead. in your letter you can mention urgency of this ead.

Fast gc seeker -even you did not get it. I applyed for EAD based on pending asylum applycation. previously i filed several times for EAD in AOS category (that has been denied for the stupid reason that is beyond the scope of this message), but now re-newed in IC proceedings.
when I sent second application it was furnished with cover letter explaining their mistake.

The frustrating part is that that jerck officer tried to fool my wife instead of admitting to their mistakes saying this crap about "replacement" , not submitting fee etc.
i just have no idea how to deal with this people. .
they screwed me once with AOS, now they try to screw me again with EAD

My experience with USCIS officer talking

about erroneous card.

Finally my wife got info about whats going on with her card: they did receive faulty card an are going to send a new one, but as i believe not untill we called.

Here is the whole story, I called three times. Spoke with 3 persons had 3 different answeres.
First time answering service parrot switched me to the officer who was rude and even did not ask a case #, just said bluntly that it was our fault " do it again, wait 90 days"
Second was more cooperative but did not know anything and the call was dropped.
Third call ( remember- God loves Trinity) lady was very useful, checked the case found that they 've got new "bad" card form us and said she 'd send a new card.

Bottom line - be persistent, if you are not satisfied with th first shot do not hasitate to call again even same day. The chance to speak to the same person twice very weak.
