EAD Approved in Record 15 Days-VSC

Hi All

My Colleague's and his wife's EADs were approved in rocord 15 days at VSC.

Too Hard to believe right???
Yes it's true.

Here are the details:

Labor substitution
I-140/I-485/I-765
RD: 8 April 2004
ND: 12 April 2004
EAD AD: 27 April 2004

He paid the regular fees as the increase was from 30 april.
I don't know how this happened so quickly

(Note: His H1 and I-94 were to expire on 21 April 2004 and the EAD start date was 22 April 2004)

Does this mean that even though he filed before 30 April, did the concurrently adjucation rule apply???

First time faster

EAD approvals will be faster if you apply it for the FIRST time along with I-485 application processing.

Only when you apply for renewal (which I would recommend them do it right now) it takes a way longggggggggggggg period to get.

It seems they are finding difficulty in DIGGING up our application under the ground once our application is filed.

Madman72 is quite right on that. Mine was approved for the first time back in May2002 in a week after file date. My RD was May 22 2002 and I received EAD for myself and mywife on May 28.....

More is yet to come to experience for your friends and no offense though...

I applied on 27 feb 2004 (I-485/I-765/I-131)
I-140 approved Jan 2004
66 days gone NO EAD
 
FIRST TIME EAD FILED in Jan 2004 Not approved yet!!!

My ND (I485/I765/I131) is 01/12/2004 and my First EAD is not yet approved.

YESKAYEM.
 
Even 1st time EADs are not getting approved fast.
This is another random case of pleasent surprise.
