EAD approved.. but...

EAD got approved today exactly after 30 calendar days. No changes on I-485.... No FP.?
No answer from USCIS for my Expedite request
What is going on my case? Any suggestions from any gurus?
 
Name Check pending?

It seems that your FBI name check is pending. Are you sure your name check is requested by USCIS and cleared by FBI?
 
did you have your FP notice yet?
looks like you havent received it yet...
if not please call them up and ask them to send it over.

I called VSC and was told that my file is waiting for FP and will send soon. They are not telling me when I am going to get FP notice.

Is it EAD Renewal?
Send my mail or efiled from website.
Sent file to Vermont or Chicago?

I filed on Feb9th, my current EAD will expire on May 5th.

You respose will give some idea to me. THANKS

I got email reponse from FBI regarding name check, they responded with NameCheck for 1st FingerPrint results done in Apr 2003 and 2nd done in Oct 2004 but didnot mention any thing about 2nd one.

All,

Is that mean USCIS didnot send request to FBI for name check clearence. I did call FBI (not name check department). They told sent back results on same day of 2nd finger prints.

Any input is appreciated
 
Name check and FP are different

Name check and FP are two different processes. Please search in the forum. There is a ton of info available. In almost all cases, FP results are returned in a few days.

Whereas name check results take any where from a few days to few years!
You can also see in the various threads name check was not requested by USCIS for many.

I got my 2nd EAD (you can say it as renewal). However I never used my 1st EAD as I-140 not approved by that time, so went for 7th H1 which is expiring in June-05, so applied for EAD2.

I sent paper copy to VSC.
