EAD approved, but not got yet(NSC)

On October 28, 2002, after approving your application, we ordered you a new card. Processing normally takes between 90 and 120 days. Your card will be mailed to you as soon as it is ready.

I am getting this message when I check online status. My EAD is expiring on Nov 6. Normally how many Days will it take to get the card after approval(NSC).?
Or Do I need to goto Local INS and get the new EAD paying extra $120, since my EAD expires on Nov'6.
Local INS accepts EAD cases only Wednesday & Friday. So I got only two days to do this.

Generally EAD should be valid from the date of approval. So you can risk waiting for the card. However, sometimes it gets lost in mail (or the mailing contractor in INS screws it up). You can attempt to get an interim EAD based on the approval (i.e. without paying the 120$).

I applied for my EAD renewal in Sept first week and received it by mid October (NSC).

As per law NSC is supposed to approve your EAD within 90 days.
