I think this will be useful for others who are waiting for thier EAD approval.

My EAD (Paper based) renewal approved on Oct 3rd and Card Received on
Oct 7th.
details.
EAD renewal applied on July 28, Approved : Oct 3rd.
VSC, Paper-based.

Did paper based filing on own.
Here are the details:
RD: 15 Sept
ND: 22nd Sept
AD: 7th October , (Message changed on 10/10).

When can I expect m AP/EAD? Urgent..Urgent

Hi,
I applied my renewal EAD/AP in SEP-05 in Vermont center. Receipt date is 20-SEP-05. When can I expect my AP/EAD? I have a business travel to Europe. My current one is expires on 30-OCT-05.

All my previous two approvals are from VSC.

If I don't get it by that time what are the alternatives to get AP?

Currently my address is in Dallas, TX. Can I go to the local office and request showning the receipt. Though I sent my application to VSC.

Any impacts if I do that.

Please help. Urgent..urgent..

My EAD got approved today. Recd Date : 10/03/2005, Notice date : 10/07/2005, Luds on 10/16,10/17,10/18,10/19 - approved . Waiting for the physical card in mail.Hope the information is helpful.

I have a question regarding AP renewal. I have a valid AP till march 2006. I am planning to send an application for second ap in november. Can I go to India before march 2006 with the first ap and come back before it expires while my second ap application is pending? Will it create any problem. I read in certain forums that doing so is like abandoning the 485 application.Please advise.
