So, Biometrics appointment for FP is not needed for EAD to be issued then???
I am wondering if your EAD has a finger print on it? or just say "fingerprint not

My husband did his FP for his I-485. His EAD says "fingerprint not available."

485 FP and EAD FP are not related. Even though you've completed biometrics (in some cases 2 or 3 biometrics !!), the EAD would still say that the FP is not available.
Its one more of those USICIS' odd processing detail.
