EAD approval in record time!!!

Hi all,
My wife applied to renew her EAD. Her ND was 05/19/03 and approval date was 06/05/03. Her EAD was approved within 15 days!!! WE are both shocked considering that they took 7 months to approve her AP.

What am I to say . Due to the 180 day adjudication time-limit, I had to apply for EAD on May 27th (RD). Now, the online status shows that it was approved on June 12, 2003. I don't know what start-date it has, but my current EAD expires in November, 2003.

They screwed Up..

My 2nd EAD was expiring in First week of August. So, considering the 150 - 180 days stuff, I applied in First week of April. They approved my 3rd EAD on May 24th.

I received my card, which now expires on May 23rd of 2004.. lost kind of 2.5 months..

Now looks like I will have to apply for 4th EAD in Jan/Feb itself..

I have received EAD with correct validation date.

Current EAD expires: 09/03
Applied 3rd EAD : 04/03
Received 3rd EAD: 06/03
Validity on 3rd EAD: 09/03 - 09/04

However, my wife EAD haven't processed yet though it was applied at the same time as mine.

I also applied EAD in May and got my EAD in the mail couple weeks ago already. My current H1 expires in Nov and my EAD expires in May 2004 (only 6 months!). I applied in May because
the website said it was still processing 1/16/03 so I was assuming 5 months. I hope it's that fast to approve my GC!

Anyway, I think it's safe to apply early than late. You can't work without EAD (even still pending) right?

My 1st EAD expiring on Aug 1st 2003.
Applied for renewal in April, approved in May but instead of
approving from Aug2Aug they started 2nd EAD date from May
30th, losing 2 months.

They approved my first EAD in 3 days, even before the receipt reached me.

I lost more than 4.5 months.
