EAD Approval Evidence

My Current EAD expires on DEC 1st. Today I received email from USCIS
that Card has been orderd. Can I use this email to show as proof that my EAD
is approved? I need to show some proof to my HR. Can this email be used as
Temporary Evidence? Can I continue to work with this email?

HR informed me last week that if the EAD is not approved they have to terminate my employment from Dec 1st

Please advice

Dont worry you should get your card within a week. In my case I got the approval on Nov 3rd and received the card on Nov9th. Your online status may change to "The card was mailed to blah blah". In the mean time talk with your HR department and ask if the online status message will make a temp solution if in case your card is delayed 1-2 weeks
 
Thank you gc_in_pain. I communicated to HR that EAD is approved, However HR is not sure if the "Card Ordered Status" is sufficient

I dont know the correct answer to your question. But I think since your EAD is already approved it is upto your employer to decide if that is enough or not. If you need you can consult with an attorney and have him talk with your employer. These are just my thoughts..

I am also in a similar situation,online status says my case has been approved.
I am just curious of the wait period for EAD card after this??

They/you will have to fill out I-9 verification/re-verification form. you would need actual EAD card or photocopy of that. Since it is approved, you would get it before 12/01 anyways. HR would have least concern about anything but I-9 re-verification. so I would say wait till you get it in your hand.

We received an email from CRIS with this message, does it mean it has been approved ? What's the differemce between Current Status of : Approval Notice and what my wife has got ?

yes, most certainly. i received the card ordered email in the morning and
approval email in the evening.

Does that mean that her EAD is not yet approved ? We ahev not received an Approval email so far. The last Email was on Nov 21 late night around 10:30pm

I am not quite sure if its approved or not, will only be certain once i get teh EAD physically in hand, but I got the message exactly after 2 months. Sept 21 to Nov 21.

any updates with your EAD, i got a mail on the 27th saying card production was ordered, and a mail on the 30th saying the approval notice was sent. i havent received anything yet.

Its that time of the year when the mail system is bogged down. Be patient. During this time of the year, mail take a couple of more days to arrive.

We got the EAD in exact 5 days. The mail came on 21 stating the card production is ordered and received the actual card in mail on Nov 27.

I am sure you will get yours too shortly.
 
Ead

Getting New EAD card is not sufficient. Make sure validity date is correct. I have received new EAD card last week but validity date start from Nov 2007 to Nov 2008 and my current EAD expire in Feb 2007. I have contacted VSC and explain issue. They told we will send new card. I also received email alert that new EAD card has been sent but waiting for new EAD card with proper validity date.
