EAD appoved twice?

Can anybody know what about this? EAD can be appoved twice?

On August xx, 2005, after approving your application, we ordered you a
new card. Your card will be mailed to you as soon as it is ready.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
This case has been approved. On August xx, 2005, an approval notice was
mailed. If 14 days have passed and you have not received this notice,
you may wish to verify or update your address. To update your address,
please call the National Customer Service Center at (800) 375-5283.

Don't worry -- its not approved twice :D

2 messages are common -- the 2nd one indicates that the EAD card has been mailed.

Hello friend dont worry, it happend to me, 2 weeeks back I applied(through lawyer ) for renewal no receipt notice nothing and today I received my second EAD and no emails or messages, surprised less than 2 weeks i got card.
Anything can happens we never know anything. so dont worry take a breath and relax.

i also got the same messages like u. when i got my second message , my card reached me next day itself. so don't worry.

what about your AP? did u get your Ap? because i also applied the AP same date as u and also had fingerprinting. till ididn't get it.
please reply me about your AP status?

i am just wondering why it took so long? i applied on JUne 2005(last week). fP
august 2005(first week). EAD approved (August last week).

No sign of AP approval. i am desperately waiting for that.

Yes. My AP got approved 2 days ago. Today I received my EAD card but in that it showing in blue text "finger print not available" any body have any idea? I already had my FP done on 8/10/05.

I wish we had a FAQ on these things ;)

don't worry about the FP not available thing ..... it doesn't connect back to your 485 FP -- your actual GC will have your FP. That's all matters

Could u please tell me which service centers u applied? and which category?.

Because i applied before u. i mean i applied on June 30th 2005. Till now no sign of AP. But the processing dates are showing as June 27th 2005 From last update.

Completely. FP are not important on EAD. It will be on the green card. Both me and my wife have EADs saying that and we are fine- got EAD renewd with the same thing saying on our cards.
 
i also receive two emails. one immediately after the other.

the amazing part is that i only went and gave me FP yesterday. my app was sent in in May though so they may just have my card sitting there waiting for the FP so they can send it out? i will be so happy when i receive my EAD.
