EAD appointment

my wife's status so far

filed at los angeles 8/25/04

rd: 8/27/04

got letter today to pick up EAD on October 16th

but that will be a difficult day to try and make it.

My question for you gurus is whether it is possible to change the appointment and what is your experience is with doing so

Also is this one of those things you have to drop everything for or is INS willing to work with you slightly?

I got my EAD on Sep 7 2004 at L A office, I had appoiment at 9AM, 10.30AM I was at home. You should go the day on the letter, I wouldn't change the day if I were you.
