EAD application RFE VSC

My 140 is approved, H1B expired (renewal applied), 485 is pending with the following details:

140- AD 04/12/2004
EAD/AP - ND 03/11/2004
485 - ND 06/26/2003
H1b (renewal) - ND 04/21/2004

Suddenly today, on the USCIS site the following message shows up:

"On June 1, 2004, we mailed a notice requesting additional evidence or information in this case. The notice explains in detail what additional material is needed. ......"

Is there anything to be worried about? I worked for the same employer all along since my arrival in the US till date and hopefully will continue. I have never come across many RFE situations in case of EAD/AP. Can someone please share some experience?

I forgot to add that my current H1B expiry date is "05/31/2004" and my EAD and AP both show the same message that additional evidence or information is requested.....

In you case it is not easy to guess the RFE for H1 extension and RFE for EAD, AP from VSC. I think it may be something related to your company. wait the RFE and let us know what they asked in RFE for H1 extension, for EAD or AP

RFE is for EAD/AP only. No status yet on H1 Renewal

Sorry for writing a message that is confusing. The RFE message shows only against EAD and AP receipt numbers. I will surely share the exact message in the RFE once we receive it.

I am in the exact same situation as yours with the exact same RFE message issued on June 1 for me and my family's AP and me and my spouse's EAD.

Infact I didn't see your posting and just posted a new thread. My H1 was also expired and on 5/21 got the extension approval.

Waiting for the lawyers to receive the letters, but I'm guessing it could be the photographs, as I understand VSC has a tendency to return photos if it's not taken to their STRICT guidelines which is rediculous!

Will have to wait for the letters I guess ...
