EAD application - How may days before receipt notice is received.

My attorney has applied for EAD renewal on my behalf three weeks back.
I have not yet received a response from the lawyer/INS.
How much time does it currently take for INS to send a receipt notice once the application is mailed.?
Will I or the lawyer receive the receipt notice?

I am concerned about the receipt letter as my jackass attorney has messed up twice already on my case.
No I cannot fire the SOB because his firm has been contracted by my company for all legal services.
 
It should take about two weeks

I received the receipt about two weeks after the application was sent. However, my husband sent his application on the same date and he has not received his receipt yet. And that was more than three weeks ago.

I am not sure if some applications were misplaced or what.
 
I applied 2 weeks back 10/21

I applied 2 weeks back on 10/21 and have not received a receipt notice. Even my check has not been cleared from the bank.
 
Thanks for the info..

What is the next course of action ....wait longer or call an IIO with name and old EAD #?
 
I also applied for initial EAD on 10/21...

I also applied for EAD on 10/21 (INS received on 10/21 morning) and I saw that my check has cleared on 10/31. I got the receipt notice today 11/01.
